The lecture notes have been used by clinical graduate students and seven-year medical students at Shanghai Medical University for nearly a decade, enjoying great popularity among students and having been reprinted many times. In recent years, it has also served as the textbook for national continuing education short-term training courses in clinical epidemiology and standardized training for resident physicians. This book has been revised based on over a decade of teaching experience, with significant new content added to make the curriculum more comprehensive. The authors are all senior teachers from the Clinical Epidemiology Training Center of Shanghai Medical University, many of whom have obtained master's degrees in clinical epidemiology from international clinical epidemiology training centers in the United States, Canada, and Australia.
