Features: For a performer to perform any composer's work, they must not only understand the historical background of the composer's creation, the ideological content and style of the work, but also possess the performance techniques necessary to recreate the music for the audience. This is a performing art, and the focus of this book is also on this. The main content of this book is divided into two parts: The first part consists of sections on the relationship between techniques and musical style, ideological content, basic posture and exceptions, basic touch technique, finger techniques, and the playing methods of octaves and double strings. Except for the latter chapter, all of these belong to the category of performance techniques. The second part covers five sections: relaxation and elasticity, the relationship between touch and changes in tone and volume, the use of the pedal, and how to learn a piece of music. These belong to the category of how to better express the work. The entire book is woven throughout with the question of how techniques can express musical content, hence the title "The Art of Piano Performance." The art of piano performance covers a very broad scope and contains a lot of content, making it difficult to express it all in writing. For this reason, we have selected some musical examples to illustrate the points, and readers will find it easier to understand by comparing the text with the examples.
