Features: The "Transportation Intermodal Stamp" was widely used in various fields such as commerce, civil affairs, and others during the more than three years after the victory of the Chinese War of Resistance against Japan. The design of the stamp features transportation tools such as ships, airplanes, automobiles, and trains. Although this set of Republican-era stamps has numerous designs, its issuance and use were highly standardized. From the bidding, production supervision, and acceptance of the stamps to their distribution and sales, most of these processes are well-documented. The Transportation Map Stamp is also the only set of Republican-era stamps that were used as postage after being stamped. This book compiles the essence of author You Zhenjie's decades of collecting and researching Transportation Intermodal Stamps, as well as his findings and insights from years of dedicated research. Additionally, the book provides a detailed catalog of Transportation Intermodal Stamp designs along with current market trends. Another significant feature of the "Transportation Intermodal Stamp" lies in its unique perspective, which reflects China's economic and financial situation after the victory of the War of Resistance against Japan and the establishment of the People's Republic of China. This period is the weakest link in the study of Chinese fiscal history, with scarce historical materials. The widespread use of stamp designs and their role in daily economic life offer rich historical records and evidence. The book and the accompanying database CD-ROM include and organize a large collection of Republican-era government archives preserved on the mainland and in Taiwan. Many of these materials are exposed for the first time, making their value particularly precious. This book can also serve as a reference for related economic history research, providing insights for economists, sociologists, historians, tax researchers, and officials.
