Features: Striving to learn from the best and reasonably select materials is another criterion in the compilation process of Progress. The research topics of scholars may vary from year to year; on the same topic, different scholars often have different insights. We strive to avoid selecting topics based on individuals and to ensure objectivity in determining the selected research topics and related outcomes, based on the quality of the arguments and publications and the level of attention the topics receive. It also showcases insightful perspectives from researchers who may not yet be widely recognized. Progress is a reference book, designed with a "tool" perspective in mind regarding its chapter structure. To facilitate reference and use, each topic is preceded by a table of contents, followed by an index of arguments and publications, and footnotes are used to indicate the sources of cited research outcomes. In the footnotes, the author and journal month are noted if the argument comes from a journal; the author and publication date are noted if it comes from a newspaper; and the author, page number, and publication year are noted if it comes from a book. We hope that through Progress, theoretical workers can understand the foundation and value of their own research, and practical workers can gain a general overview of educational research, making the positioning of theoretical research and experimental work clearer and more strategic.
