Features: During the reign of Emperor Taizong in the Tang Dynasty, General Xue Renhui, the Prince of Pingxi, was ordered to enter the capital to accompany the emperor. However, he was framed by his uncle, Li Daozong, and was sentenced to death three times, narrowly escaping with his life. Although he was eventually exonerated and cleared of the charges, he had lost all hope and decided to fake his death, hide his identity, and never serve in office again. At that time, the six kingdoms of Western Liang invaded the Tang Dynasty, and Emperor Li Shimin of the Tang Dynasty resolved to personally lead the army to suppress the Western Liang. To seek talented individuals, the strategist Xu Maogong used a trick to lure Xue Renhui out, making him the commander-in-chief of the Western Expedition. The Western Expedition faced countless dangers and numerous obstacles. Many generals lost their lives on the battlefield, and numerous heroes fought to the death. The Xue family devoted themselves to loyalty for three generations, and the heroes fought bravely to break through Western Liang, ultimately securing the peace of the Taizong era and allowing the Tang emperor to return in triumph.
