Features: Building on the success of the first two editions, the China Center for Economic Research (CCER) has once again partnered with Sina.com and China CITIC Press to host the third "China Economic Outlook Forum." The event was also joined by "21st Century Business Herald" and received enthusiastic support from United Technologies. Opening on November 12, 2005, and concluding on December 23, 2005, with a closing ceremony officiated by Vice Chairman Huang Mengfu, the forum invited 26 guests, including renowned domestic scholars, leaders from relevant government departments, and prominent figures from the business community. The discussions and exchanges took place in Sina.com's guest chat room, covering ten topics such as rural revitalization, financial reform, public finance and taxation, China-India competitiveness, macroeconomics, energy, state-owned asset system, social security and healthcare, "going global" for enterprises, and foreign trade. The forum reviewed the hotspots of the 2005 economy, looked ahead to the economic and policy trends of 2006, and explored the key areas of future reforms and development opportunities.
