These are questions I often hear. To think that Huanggang Middle School merely follows the (command) of college entrance exams and passively responds to them is incorrect. Huanggang Middle School does not advocate rote memorization or passive problem-solving. If it has any exceptional qualities, it lies in its ability to fully understand the intentions of test setters and grasp their underlying principles, becoming a leader rather than a blind follower.
Huanggang Middle School does not oppose teachers diving into the sea of problems but strongly advocates students stepping out of it. It opposes students doing mechanical, simple, repetitive, and tedious exercises but requires them to complete necessary ones. The "Huanggang Middle School Workbook" series is based on the "Teaching Syllabus" and "Exam Syllabus," highlighting the role of "homework" in students' process of forming learning abilities, problem-solving skills, and exam-taking abilities. It reflects the inevitable connection between Huanggang Middle School students' brilliant performance in various exams and their rigorous daily practice.
This series features a carefully designed format, offering intensive training through four modules—pre-class warm-up, in-class exercises, after-class exercises, and (senior/high) exam online—to enhance students' abilities. It also has the following characteristics:
