Features: The Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical Classification Index with Defined Daily Doses (ATC/DDD Index), compiled by the World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Centre for Drug Statistics Methodology, has become one of the essential tools for standardizing drug management and statistical analysis in most countries and regions worldwide. Meanwhile, it is gradually gaining recognition in China's pharmaceutical industry, including research, clinical practice, rational drug use, drug management, and statistical analysis. To meet the needs of domestic peers, after consultation with the WHO Collaborating Centre for Drug Statistics Methodology (Oslo, Norway) and with its approval, the WHOINDEXWITHDDDs (2001) has been compiled and is now provided for reference. To ensure the information remains as up-to-date as possible, in addition to compiling the original book, the compilers have supplemented it by referring to the internet homepage of the WHO Collaborating Centre (www.whocc.nmd.no and www.whocc.no). This index lists all drugs with ATC classification in order of the ATC system, including their INN (International Nonproprietary Name) in English, Chinese generic names, and DDD (Defined Daily Dose) values for different routes of administration. The Chinese names of drugs are primarily based on the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, the Chinese Approved Drug Names, and various drug standards; other translations are for reference only.
