Features: To strengthen the construction of the physician workforce in China, improve physicians' professional ethics and competence, safeguard their legitimate rights and interests, and protect public health, the State promulgated the "Practice of the Medical Practitioners Law of the People's Republic of China" and officially held China's first Medical Practitioners Qualification Examination in November 1999. This marked the establishment of China's Medical Practitioners Qualification Examination system, elevating the standardized management of the physician workforce to a new level. As a highly practical discipline, medicine not only requires physicians to possess systematic medical theoretical knowledge but also demands proficiency in medical practical skills. According to the "Practice of the Medical Practitioners Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Interim Measures of the Ministry of Health on the Medical Practitioners Qualification Examination," the examination consists of two parts: the Medical Comprehensive Written Examination and the Practical Skills Examination. The Practical Skills Examination is an indispensable component of the Medical Practitioners Qualification Examination, serving as a crucial means to evaluate whether candidates possess the clinical thinking and operational abilities required for practice. To strengthen the physician workforce in China, improve the professional competence of practicing physicians, and gradually guide their practical skills toward scientific, standardized, and standardized operation, while assisting candidates in their pre-examination training, we have organized experts to write this set of "Practical Skills Examination Guidance for Medical Practitioners." Based on the categories of the physician examination, the entire series includes three books: "Practical Skills Examination Guidance for Clinical Physicians," "Practical Skills Examination Guidance for Oral Physicians," and "Practical Skills Examination Guidance for Public Health Physicians." This series of books is strictly compiled according to the new edition of the "Practical Skills Examination Syllabus for Medical Practitioners" promulgated by the Medical Practitioners Qualification Examination Committee of the Ministry of Health in 2001. It emphasizes the cultivation and training of clinical thinking and problem-solving abilities while introducing relevant clinical basic operation procedures. We hope that the publication and distribution of this series of books will not only assist candidates in successfully passing the Medical Practitioners Examination but also play a positive role in improving the clinical practical skill level of a broad readership, thereby enhancing the overall quality of medical services.
