Features: Yinhe grew up in an orphanage run by a church with Andre (Li Yuzhen), relying on each other. In her heart, there was only one person—Andre. However, Andre had vowed since childhood to become a priest and was completely unaware of his feelings for Yinhe. Later, when he realized he deeply loved Yinhe, fate repeatedly caused him to miss her.
When Andre left his hometown to study at a church in Italy, he entrusted a letter to his friend Zheng Yuzhen to give to Yinhe, stating that he would return if she needed him. Yuzhen, who also deeply loved Yinhe, betrayed their friendship for love. He hid the letter and concealed all information about Andre.
After a long and hopeless wait, Yinhe finally decided: to forget Andre and accept Yuzhen’s love. However, the day before their engagement, Yinhe left without saying goodbye, becoming a volunteer doctor and traveling to South America to treat locals. Two years later, Yinhe, suffering from a terminal illness, returned to the orphanage with a weary heart and body. There, she met Andre, who had also returned from an Italian monastery and was suffering from the same illness. The three young people, all tangled by fate, met again.
