Features: When the sun dogs appear, it means wind is coming; when the foundation is damp, it means rain is coming. Sun dogs can be seen as a signal of wind, and damp foundation (foundation refers to the base here) can be seen as a signal of rain. Wind coming is a crisis for those going to sea, requiring them to seek shelter; for kite flyers, it’s an opportunity, signaling them to prepare their lines. Rain coming is also a crisis for those with leaky boats and broken houses, requiring them to repair their boats and houses, while for those ready to plant rice and seedlings, it’s an opportunity, signaling them to buy seedlings and prepare. Therefore, the value of a signal often lies not in itself but in the trends and possible events its, and in how these trends and events may impact the interests of relevant individuals, organizations, or businesses. The impact of signals on people and businesses’ interests can be summed up in two aspects: good or bad. Good means business opportunities, while bad means business crises. The crisis and opportunity behind a signal constitute its fundamental value. Business management and operations are closely related to omens. Omens emerge at any time during a business’s operations and inevitably permeate the entire process of its survival and development. They are signals of risks or opportunities that the business encounters. Every event in a business’s operations, whether occurring before, after, or almost simultaneously, will inevitably have tight or loose connections. Some events can be seen as omens of other events.
