Features: The World Military Almanac is a continuously compiled and published academic and reference tool book that densely packs information, primarily documenting new situations and progress in military affairs of countries around the world within a year. The time frame for the materials collected in this volume of the Almanac: Generally, it ranges from January to December 2004; a few extend to the first half of 2005; certain special topic materials and newly established categories include some background information from before 2004 to provide readers with more systematic and comprehensive information.
