This book is divided into 11 chapters. It first briefly introduces the anatomy and histology of serous cavities, the pathogenesis, diagnosis, specimen collection, and preparation methods of serous cavity effusions. It then provides a detailed explanation of the differentiation patterns of normal mesothelial cells and their atypical hyperplastic changes.
