Features: The new round of educational reform, curriculum reform, and examination reform has led to significant changes in China's college admissions system, especially in the reform of examination content, which further emphasizes the assessment of candidates' innovative abilities, practical skills, and comprehensive qualities. How to scientifically and effectively explore the new college entrance examination (Gaokao) rules, achieving outstanding results with minimal input to gain maximum educational output, and thereby entering the halls of key universities is not only the dream of countless students but also the constant pursuit of educators nationwide. In response to this, our school has once again collaborated with Longmen Publishing House to scientifically plan and organize the meticulous writing and publication of this series, including "Qidong Middle School Real Practice for the Middle School Entrance Examination" and "Qidong Middle School Real Practice for the College Entrance Examination." This series is our first collaboration with Longmen Publishing House, a national-level publishing house, to publish a comprehensive review book for the middle school and college entrance examinations. This series is meticulously crafted by the teaching staff of Qidong Middle School, who have created the "educational myth" of Qidong Middle School, systematically summarizing the intellectual achievements of our school's frontline senior teachers and gold medal coaches in teaching and review guidance over the years, especially since the "3X" college entrance examination reform. It effectively addresses the hot educational issue of how to scientifically and effectively improve students' knowledge and ability levels and exam-taking skills under the new college entrance examination system. It will also enable our school's high-quality educational resources to be more widely promoted and utilized, allowing teachers and students from other schools nationwide to share in the "real practice" of Qidong Middle School. At the same time, we will do our best to contribute to China's basic education and the practical experience of the new curriculum and examination reforms.
During the actual writing process, the middle school examination is divided into 2 rounds, while the college entrance examination is divided into 3 rounds, aligning with the teaching and review progress of junior high and senior high schools. "Real Practice for the Middle School Entrance Examination" includes 6 subjects in each round: Chinese, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry, and politics. "Real Practice for the College Entrance Examination" includes 9 subjects in each round: Chinese, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry, biology, politics, history, and geography, with the third round also including two comprehensive volumes: "Comprehensive for Liberal Arts" and "Comprehensive for Science." In each round, the subject books are divided into A and B companion volumes for synchronized intensive training. It can be said that this series is an invaluable practical guide for middle school and college entrance examination preparation.
First Round (Foundation): Written chapter by chapter or unit by unit, with a focus on interpreting the key points of the new "Examination Instructions" for the middle school entrance examination, accompanied by a large number of detailed examples.
Second Round (Ability): Divided into thematic lectures and intensive training, primarily aimed at cultivating and improving students' comprehensive abilities, application skills, and innovative thinking, supplemented by interdisciplinary comprehensive thematic lectures and intensive training.
Third Round (Final Sprint): Designed for candidates to simulate, warm up, and prepare for the final sprint in April and May. Each volume meticulously includes 12-15 simulated middle school and college entrance examination papers, scientifically constructing a new platform for training aligned with the "three examination directions" of the middle school and college entrance examinations, achieving a zero-distance encounter with the 2005 middle school and college entrance examinations.
The writing of each volume in each round of this series embodies the collective wisdom of dozens of frontline junior and senior high school teachers from our school. Starting from cultivating students' innovative and practical abilities, a large number of questions have been meticulously compiled, selected, and analyzed. Through collective lesson preparation, continuous refinement, careful deliberation, and thorough integration, we have achieved a balance between originality and classics, striving to make each volume fully adapted to the requirements of the new middle school and college entrance examinations. We hope that "Qidong Middle School Real Practice for the Middle School Entrance Examination" and "Qidong Middle School Real Practice for the College Entrance Examination" can truly become a green passageway for candidates to successfully enter university.
