Features: What we deeply felt while writing this script is that raising a good child is challenging in everything we do. In fact, many times, family conflicts and generational gaps are not the fault of one party but rather stem from differences in their value systems. Solving these issues requires more tolerance, inclusiveness, understanding, and love. Shen Xiao is an excellent senior high school student. With the college entrance exam approaching, Shen Xiao's school openly violates relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education to improve enrollment rates by conducting a preliminary exam to (divert) students. Shen Xiao's classmates Liu Guoqing and a few others, dissatisfied with their poor performance and unwilling to be prematurely declared "doomed," steal the exam papers from the academic affairs office and ask Shen Xiao to help create the standard answers. A storm then breaks—classmates' suicides, parents' conflicts, the school and teachers' lack of understanding, the shattering of romantic aspirations, and adolescent restlessness—all pressures, conflicts, and disputes erupt before the exam. Involved in the midst of it, Shen Xiao faces a crisis of trust, gives up the college entrance exam, and unexpectedly gets entangled in a drug trafficking case. After experiencing a series of setbacks, Shen Xiao finally grows up, gives up resistance, and participates in the college entrance exam the following year, achieving outstanding results and being admitted to Peking University Medical School.
