Features: Most artistic trends and schools at the turn of the century had varying degrees of pessimism, with only Impressionism and Art Nouveau showing joyful traces. Although Art Nouveau originated from artists' to industrialization, it later became a reflection of capital and industrial development, maximizing the expression of beauty and being a true form of pure art. Due to Art Nouveau's emphasis on the originality of handcraft, it was difficult to adapt to industrial production. It was not only seen as extravagant by socialists but ultimately abandoned by modernists, eventually being replaced by the Bauhaus system.
