Features: Huanggang materials are everywhere, and Huanggang Middle School is the only one! The first official publication of Huanggang Middle School's internal examination papers, authorized exclusively by Huanggang Middle School! Established in 1904, Huanggang Middle School of Hubei Province was designated as a key middle school in Hubei Province in 1953 and was awarded the title of "Advanced Unit in the Education System of China" in 1986. In 2002, it was recognized as an "Advanced Unit in the Construction of Spiritual Civilization in China."
Huanggang Middle School upholds the educational philosophy of "people-oriented, virtue-based education" and has developed a distinctive approach to nurturing students with "comprehensive strengths." It has pioneered a teaching style characterized by "seeking truth, refinement, originality, and innovation." Its outstanding performance in college entrance exams and competitions is a natural outcome of its long-term implementation of quality education, though it is merely one aspect of its abundant teaching achievements.
When it comes to cultivating students, what magic formula does Huanggang Middle School possess? What power does it have to turn sand into a tower? What ability does it have to turn stone into gold? These are questions I often hear. To think that Huanggang Middle School merely follows the of college entrance exams and passively prepares for exams is incorrect. Huanggang Middle School does not advocate rote memorization or passive problem-solving. If it has any exceptional qualities, it lies in its ability to fully grasp the intentions of test setters and deeply understand the underlying principles, positioning itself as a leader rather than a blind follower.
Huanggang Middle School does not oppose teachers immersing themselves in a sea of problems but strongly advocates that students break free from it. It opposes students from doing mechanical, simple, repetitive, and tedious exercises but requires them to complete necessary ones. We encourage students to engage in flexible and widely applicable problems, allowing them to enrich their knowledge, develop skills, and enhance their qualities through the process of solving them.
If there is anything else that Huanggang Middle School has achieved success in, it is that while cultivating and nurturing a large number of outstanding students, it has also forged its teaching staff, creating renowned master teachers in Hubei Province. These teachers possess deep scientific and cultural literacy, innovative educational concepts, unique teaching styles, artistic flair, and remarkable teaching achievements.
To showcase the talents of Huanggang Middle School's teachers and share their teaching results, we have organized and carefully planned the writing of three series: "Huanggang Middle School Homework Books," "Huanggang Middle School Examination Papers," and "Huanggang Middle School 2006 College Entrance Exam First and Second Round Training Materials."
The "Huanggang Middle School Homework Books" series is based on the "Teaching Syllabus" and "Exam Syllabus," highlighting the role of "homework" in helping students develop learning abilities, problem-solving skills, and exam-taking abilities. It reflects the inevitable connection between Huanggang Middle School students' exceptional performance in various exams and their rigorous daily practice. This series features a carefully designed format with four main sections: "Pre-Class Warm-up," "In-Class Homework," "After-Class Homework," and "Exam Online," providing intensive training to improve students' abilities. It also has the following features:
1. Appropriate Exercise Placement: The exercises are carefully arranged to reinforce and gradually enhance the key points, types of questions, and methods associated with each topic. The series aims to elevate students' problem-solving skills through progressive, ability-based, open-ended, applied, and comprehensive exercises.
2. Moderate Difficulty Gradient: The ratio of basic, intermediate, and advanced questions in this series is 6:3:1, making it suitable for the use of most middle schools. Most questions are labeled with A, B, or C to indicate their difficulty level, ensuring clarity and appropriateness.
3. Detailed Solution Hints: The answers at the back of the book are appropriately detailed, with more thorough explanations provided for difficult questions. It is worth mentioning that the insightful hints included sometimes play a pivotal role in guiding students toward the solution.
This series emphasizes the originality and quality of the authors' exercises, with rigorous review and proofreading processes to ensure excellence. Our goal is to create a standout in the educational materials market.
