I don’t want to keep it secret, so I wrote this book to share it with fellow enthusiasts. This book is Mr. Xin Fengnian’s musical essay, published by Beijing Life & Reading Press in January 1987 and reprinted in September 1995. The Taipei Macro Cultural Enterprise Co., Ltd. later renamed it "Music Lover's Talk" and published its traditional vertical Chinese version in March 1996. For this re-publication, we have invited the author to make substantial additions to the entire book, with over seventy important supplements adding nearly ten thousand words, making it more detailed and comprehensive than the first edition. This little book reflects the randomness of an outsider. However, although it seems like casual talk, it is not without foundation.
