Over half a century, Gao Zhiqi wrote millions of words in scientific essays, science fairy tales, and various forms of science popularization articles, guiding countless young people onto the path of science and affectionately known as "Grandpa Gao Zhiqi." After his passing, the Organization Department of the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee recognized him as a "National Hero of the Chinese Nation," and the International Astronomical Union named asteroid 3704 "Gao Zhiqi." On the centennial of his birth, a batch of related science popularization books were published. The Complete Works of Gao Zhiqi, published by Anhui Children's Publishing House in 1995, has now been released by the China Aviation Industry Publishing House this year. Notably, the original four volumes have been re-edited into five, with an additional volume being Gao Zhiqi's personal memoir written in his later years, which is being published for the first time. Through these writings, one can appreciate Gao's delicate and vivid narration as well as previously unknown historical details. At the same time, there is also the Gao Zhiqi Photobiography, which features photographs and text that complement each other, highlighting Gao's upbringing and background while embodying an "authentic" creative style, aiming to Gao Zhiqi's true self. Another book, The Stories of Gao Zhiqi, is a collection that took 11 years from conception to publication, comprising various reminiscences, but also arranged chronologically, serving as a timeline of Gao Zhiqi's major life events.
