What is the reason for stopping the growth in the early stages of pregnancy every time?

Patient's question:

We have been pregnant twice, and each time the pregnancy was smooth, but each time the fetus stopped growing and there was bleeding at around four to five weeks. What is going on with the miscarriages? How should we check at the hospital?

Doctor's answer:

There are many causes of fetal demise, such as genetic gene defects: abnormal chromosomes in either partner; maternal factors, such as the mother suffering from certain diseases, or endocrine abnormalities, smoking and alcohol abuse, trauma and stimulation, as well as some psychological factors; immune function abnormalities; and environmental factors. It is recommended that you undergo routine endocrine tests and chromosome checks to rule out diseases.
