Features: In the hearts of many candidates, the graduate entrance examination is an intimidating gateway. Faced with a mountain of textbooks and supplementary materials, many candidates feel they cannot grasp the key points or know where to start. After the exam, some candidates lose points due to poor review strategies, incomplete answers, or a lack of focus, leaving them feeling frustrated. To help candidates overcome these difficulties and pass the exam smoothly to achieve their goal of further education, we have organized experts and professors from the basic and clinical medicine disciplines of Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University to compile this series of "Essentials of Medical Graduate Entrance Examination." This series consists of 14 volumes, including anatomy, histology and embryology, physiology, biochemistry, cell biology, pharmacology, pathophysiology, pathology, internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, oncology, and dermatology and venereology. The experts and professors invited to contribute to this series have long been engaged in teaching in various disciplines of basic and clinical medicine, possess extensive teaching experience, and have a relatively in-depth understanding of the question-setting for graduate entrance examinations. Each volume in this series is divided into two parts: Essentials and Exam Questions. The Essentials section is based on the textbooks currently used by medical undergraduates at Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University and other medical colleges in China, systematically summarizing the relevant content according to the scope and difficulty of the graduate entrance examination questions. It highlights the fundamental theories and key knowledge points that candidates must master, covering the essential and important content of each chapter to facilitate comprehensive review and consolidation. The Exam Questions section collects real or simulated exam questions from medical graduate entrance examinations of several medical colleges across the country, including Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University. Each set of questions is accompanied by reference answers or key points for answering. Candidates can carefully study and analyze the questions and their reference answers or key points to gain a deeper understanding of the question types, styles, depth, and breadth of content, as well as the requirements and methods for answering. We hope this series can help students open the door to graduate entrance examinations and contribute to their success as medical graduate students. "Essentials of Medical Graduate Entrance Examination" is one of the volumes—Pathology. It serves as a reference book for candidates preparing for the graduate entrance examinations in pathology and clinical medicine, as well as a supplementary textbook for medical undergraduates and young clinical physicians studying pathology theory. This book is divided into two parts. The first part is the Essentials of Content, which mainly lists the basic content and key points of each chapter based on textbooks such as "Pathology" edited by Guo Muyi and Ye Zuru, and "Pathology" edited by Li Yulin, to assist candidates in reviewing before the exam. The second part is Real and Simulated Exam Questions with Answer Key Points. The Real Questions section collects pathology exam questions from more than ten renowned medical colleges in China since the year 2000, primarily consisting of term definitions, short-answer questions, and case discussions. These questions have been reorganized to remove duplicates and are accompanied by reference answers for candidates to use as a guide during their review. Some university entrance exams include multiple-choice and true-or-false questions, and the textbook provides clear answers for these types of questions. Additionally, six simulated questions are included to help candidates more comprehensively assess their mastery of fundamental pathology knowledge.
