The "Shanghai Stock Exchange Joint Research Program" implemented by the Shanghai Stock Exchange is a new attempt to promote collaboration and exchange between Chinese securities research institutions and the legal community. With the support and joint efforts of all sectors of society, it has successfully conducted five phases and achieved a series of noteworthy research outcomes. To further advance securities market research, mobilize and integrate social research resources, enhance the transparency and openness of topic selection and bidding for research projects and funding, and improve research quality and efficiency, the Shanghai Stock Exchange has publicly solicited research topics and conducted project and funding bidding both domestically and internationally.
The Shanghai Stock Exchange Joint Research Program consists of two parts: financial and securities, and legal. Applicants must submit a research proposal and a detailed research plan for the candidate topic, including research scope, significance, existing research foundation, research outline, expected outcomes, team member profiles, research schedule, research methods, and funding arrangements. The Shanghai Stock Exchange will determine the selected projects and their implementers based on the applicants' research capabilities and plans.
To promote securities market research, advance the marketization and standardization of China's securities market, accelerate reforms and innovation in the securities market, and provide decision-making support for leadership, the Shanghai Stock Exchange periodically publishes "Shanghai Stock Exchange Research." Our mission is to provide a high-level publication platform for securities market research in China and to serve as a hub for research exchange within the industry. We advocate conducting in-depth research on key, hot, and cutting-edge issues in China's securities market development using internationally recognized methods, with a rigorous and pragmatic approach. We hope that through collective efforts, "Shanghai Stock Exchange Research" can publish a series of outstanding research outcomes, offering independent, rational, and forward-looking policy recommendations and implementation plans for the development of China's securities market.
