Features: In the hearts of many candidates, the graduate entrance examination is a daunting gate. Faced with a mountain of textbooks and supplementary materials, many candidates feel they cannot grasp the key points or know where to start. After the exam, some candidates lose points due to poor review strategies, incomplete answers, or a lack of focus, leaving them feeling frustrated. To help candidates overcome these difficulties and pass the exam smoothly to achieve their goal of further studies, we have organized experts and professors from the basic and clinical medicine disciplines of Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University to write this series of "Essentials of Medical Graduate Entrance Examination." This series consists of 14 volumes, including anatomy, embryology and histology, physiology, biochemistry, cell biology, pharmacology, pathophysiology, pathology, internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, oncology, and dermatology and venereology. The experts and professors invited to write these volumes have long been engaged in teaching in various disciplines of basic and clinical medicine, possess rich teaching experience, and have a relatively in-depth understanding of the question-setting for graduate entrance examinations. Each volume in this series is divided into two parts: Essentials and Exam Questions. The Essentials part is based on the textbooks used by medical undergraduates at Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University and other medical colleges in China, and systematically summarizes the relevant content of the textbooks according to the scope and difficulty required by the graduate entrance examination questions. It highlights the fundamental theories and key knowledge points that candidates must master, covering the basic and essential content of each chapter that candidates are expected to learn, facilitating comprehensive review and consolidation. The Exam Questions part collects real or simulated exam questions from medical graduate entrance examinations of several medical colleges across the country, including Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University. Each set of questions is accompanied by reference answers or key points for answering. Candidates can carefully read and study the questions and their reference answers or key points to gain a deeper understanding of the question types, styles, depth, and breadth of the exams, as well as the requirements and methods for answering. We hope this series can open the door to graduate studies for students and contribute to their success as medical graduate students.
One volume in this series, "Internal Medicine," is a reference book for candidates preparing to take the graduate entrance examination for internal medicine, providing theoretical knowledge and exam review. It can also serve as a supplementary learning resource for medical students and resident physicians preparing for departmental exams or during their work. This book consists of two parts. The first part is "Content Essentials," based on the People's Medical Publishing House's seven-year program textbook "Internal Medicine." It is written by doctoral supervisors and master supervisors of internal medicine graduate education at our Zhongshan Hospital and Huashan Hospital, along with their assistants. The authors, drawing on years of clinical teaching experience, emphasize the integration of fundamental theory and clinical practice. Based on an analysis of the question-setting level and difficulty of the graduate entrance examination, they systematically summarize the relevant content of the textbook and highlight the essential fundamental and clinical knowledge that candidates must master for the internal medicine graduate entrance examination, facilitating review and consolidation. The second part is "Real Exam Questions and Key Points," which collects real exam questions from recent graduate entrance examinations of several medical colleges across the country. After careful analysis and refinement, this part offers broad representativeness, targeting, and guidance. It allows readers to understand and familiarize themselves with the question types and styles of the exams, providing a strong sense of authenticity.
