Publish Date: 2003-04-01
Features: This book is based on the "Advanced Mathematics Lectures" (the edition, i.e., the 1958 edition) published by our press. When using this guidebook, it must be paired with the aforementioned "Advanced Mathematics Lectures" as the textbook. This book can serve as a teaching material for correspondence students of higher industrial schools studying advanced mathematics, or as a self-study guide for readers who have completed high school mathematics courses. The book is divided into two volumes: the first volume includes general study method guidance, chapter-specific study method guidance, exercises, answers to exercises, and test assignments. The second volume is organized based on the questions raised by correspondence students of Tongji University while studying advanced mathematics, addressing certain learning doubts and serving as a reference for understanding the textbook. This edition is a revised version, revised by Wang Fuying of Tongji University. In revising this book, considering the needs of many correspondence students and part-time self-learners of higher industrial schools studying the "Advanced Mathematics Lectures" (the second edition, i.e., the 1964 edition) by Fan Yingchuan et al., our press has specially added two comparison tables (the comparison table of the table of contents for the "Advanced Mathematics Lectures" by Fan Yingchuan et al. in 1958 and 1964, and Comparison Table I) at the end of the book for reference by readers studying the second edition.
