Features: "A Pictorial History of the War of Resistance in Shanxi": This book commemorates the 60th anniversary of the victory in the Great War of Resistance and the War of Resistance against Fascism. The People's Liberation Army, led by the Communist Party of China, marched into Shanxi to wage war against Japan, marking one of the most significant historical events to occur in China at the outbreak of the national resistance. Its successful launch and rapid expansion, like thunderous and earth-shaking storms, shook all of North China, all of China, and the entire world, becoming the first to sound the victory hymn of the national liberation war and the great beginning of the anti-Japanese guerrilla war, which ultimately led to the defeat of Japanese militarism. Shanxi played a crucial strategic role and held a lofty historical position in the Chinese War of Resistance and the global War of Resistance against Fascism, leaving a vivid and indelible mark in the history of human revolution. This book, in a richly illustrated format, not only authentically and vividly recreates the magnificent historical panorama of Shanxi's war of resistance but also vividly and profoundly reveals the spirit of Taihang, the spirit of the nation, and the spirit of the war of resistance.
