Features: In 2000, the National Tourism Administration (NTA) implemented reforms in the Tour Guide Qualification Examination to meet the requirements of institutional reform and the development of the tourism industry in terms of industry qualification certification and examination work. To ensure the smooth progress of the reforms for the National Tour Guide Qualification Examination and to improve the professional quality of tour guides, our company, based on the long-standing publication of the "Series Textbooks for the National Tour Guide Qualification Examination," consulted with leaders from tourism bureaus in some provinces and cities involved in tour guide training and examination, organized a group of experts and scholars with extensive experience in tour guide training and question setting, and established the National Tour Guide Qualification Examination Textbook Writing Group to rewrite the series textbooks for the National Tour Guide Qualification Examination (National Part). These textbooks embody the reform spirit of the National Tourism Administration, fully consider the current state of tour guide training and examination work in China, meticulously summarize the experience of tour guide work in the country, and emphasize the comprehensiveness, authority, and practicality of knowledge. They serve as both training materials for the National Tour Guide Qualification Examination (National Part) and are also suitable for use by faculty and students of tour guide majors in tourism colleges and universities.
