How to implement quality education in classroom teaching and truly improve students' qualities through education is a question of concern and exploration for the entire education community and even the whole society. Facing the new curriculum, we must learn to use new learning methods—autonomous learning, collaborative learning, and inquiry-based learning. To this end, we have organized renowned curriculum developers and frontline senior and advanced teachers from key secondary schools to write this series of books based on the new textbooks. The books strive to integrate the three learning methods mentioned above. In terms of section design, this series focuses on exercises with supplementary explanations. Exercises are centered on lessons, while explanations are centered on units, primarily reflecting the characteristic of gradual progress. This series breaks away from the outdated appearance of traditional synchronous teaching aids, both rooted in synchronous teaching and tailored to the new junior high school entrance examination requirements. It emphasizes not only mastering basic knowledge through synchronous learning but also guiding thinking methods, with a greater focus on cultivating students' abilities to analyze and solve problems. The content and chapter layout of this series fully align with the new textbooks and strictly synchronize with lessons. The carefully selected unit section (lesson) exercises and unit ability tests are of moderate difficulty. Together with the mid-term and final exams, they form a three-tier testing system that conforms to the principles of quality education, allowing students to conduct time-efficient and comprehensive training from multiple perspectives, truly achieving the goal of improving overall quality.
In terms of section design, this series prioritizes exercises with supplementary explanations. Exercises are centered on lessons, while explanations are centered on units, primarily reflecting the characteristic of gradual progress. Each volume selectively includes the following sections:
[Summary of Unit Knowledge]: This section condenses and expands the key knowledge points, examination requirements, and learning objectives of the unit, systematically organizing them in the form of charts and networks.
[Explanations of Typical Examples]: Through detailed explanations of typical examples, the knowledge system and ability system involved in the problem are concisely highlighted, primarily focusing on mastering methods, patterns, and techniques.
[Overview of Gaokao True Questions]: This section summarizes and analyzes the junior high school entrance examination questions (1998–2003) related to the chapter knowledge, enabling readers to grasp the patterns, techniques, and hot topics of the exam while studying synchronously.
[Unit Section (Lesson) Exercises]: Each lesson (section) includes carefully selected exercises of appropriate difficulty, which are novel, practical, and cover a wide range of topics, helping readers fully integrate and reinforce the knowledge they have learned.
