Features: Based on the functional center platform, it has launched a new round of curriculum reform in teaching content integration. The experimental teaching of the original three functional disciplines—physiology, pharmacology, and pathophysiology—has been integrated into a separate course called "Functional Experimentation." This is the historical background and practical requirement for the book's compilation. From the perspective of integrated functional studies, the content is reorganized with the goal of cultivating students' comprehensive, innovative, and fundamental skills, rather than simply combining the three original courses. The book includes general laboratory knowledge, research design, medical statistics, and scientific paper writing; common equipment and supplies for animal experiments, as well as basic animal experimental skills training; and experiments on the functions of various systems. Additionally, it considers the development of innovative and comprehensive abilities by including content such as common disease pathological models and experimental discussion sessions. It is believed that the use of this book will contribute to the overall improvement of functional experimentation teaching and the comprehensive enhancement of learning quality.
