Features: Clinical Physicians' Diagnosis and Treatment Manual (Volume ), since its publication in 1994, has been supported and encouraged by a wide range of medical professionals. Each volume has been reprinted multiple times, with a total print run reaching hundreds of thousands of copies. Over the past 6 years, clinical diagnosis and treatment techniques have rapidly advanced. To keep pace with medical progress and better alleviate patients' suffering, it is necessary to revise and supplement the content of the edition to further improve it.
First, the revised edition has significantly increased in length. In terms of disease coverage, in addition to the common diseases already included, supplementary information on some less common conditions has been added. In content, each volume has been expanded, such as the Internal Medicine volume adding differential diagnosis content; the Surgery volume including a Neurosurgery section; and the Pediatric Surgery, General Surgery, and Obstetrics & Gynecology volumes incorporating many new diagnostic and treatment protocols. The Pediatrics volume has also been expanded in terms of disease coverage and content. The Ophthalmology volume has added new examination methods, surgical highlights for common diseases, chapters on the relationship between ophthalmology and systemic diseases, and ophthalmic syndrome diseases. The Dermatology & Venereology volume has made efforts to reflect the latest advancements in diagnosis and treatment techniques for venereal diseases.
However, there may still be shortcomings. We sincerely hope that readers will continue to provide valuable suggestions and opinions, and offer constructive criticism on any inappropriate parts.
