Can infertility be cured?

Patient's question:

My daughter-in-law and son have been divorced for several years, and they still don't have any children. Last year, after a thorough examination, we found that my daughter-in-law has infertility. She has been receiving treatment ever since. I want to ask if infertility can be cured?

Doctor's answer:

A woman who has not breastfed for at least 12 months and has not become pregnant is called infertility. For men, it is called infertility. Infertility is a condition of impaired fertility caused by various different causes, and is a poor perinatal health event for couples of childbearing age. The causes of infertility may include factors related to the woman, the man, both, or an unclear cause. The treatment of infertility depends on the cause. Common causes in women include tubal adhesion, obstruction, pelvic adhesion, pelvic inflammation, endometriosis, and ovulation disorders, among others.
