Features: Jiang Feng, styled Boting, was born in Shandong in December 1946. He is a member of the China Artists Association, a researcher at the Tianjin Academy of Arts and Sciences, a first-class national artist, and a visiting professor at the Fine Arts Department of Xinjiang University. Jiang Feng graduated from the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, specializing in freehand flower-and-bird painting under the guidance of Professor Sun Qifeng, and received meticulous instruction from renowned masters such as Wang Maigan, Liang Qi, Pu Zhao, and Xiao Lang. He has participated in numerous domestic and international art exhibitions and won awards. His works are preserved in countries such as the United States, Japan, Canada, and Singapore. In 1997, he was included in Contemporary Chinese Art Legends and Dictionary of Famous Chinese Artists. In recent years, he has compiled teaching materials for fine arts that have been widely distributed nationally, and many of his creations have been collected by institutions such as the Great Hall of the People, the National Art Museum of China, and Tianjin Airport.
1976: His ink painting Spring Announcement participated in the National Art Exhibition.
1978: His New Year painting Skillfully Managing a Thousand Tasks participated in the National Art Exhibition.
1980: His work Clear Summer participated in the National Art Exhibition and won the second prize.
1987: His ink painting Prosperous Spring won the first prize in the joint exhibition of Tianjin, Beijing, and Shenzhen.
1993: His work Double Heroes was collected by the Zhengzhou Erqi Revolutionary Memorial Hall.
1994: His ink painting Exquisite Shadows of the Lotus Pond participated in the 8th National Fine Arts Exhibition and won the Excellence Award.
1966: His ink painting Condensed Fragrance participated in the first Ruziniu Cup National Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition and won the first prize.
1998: His ink painting Purple Clouds participated in the Zhongxiang Cup National Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition and won the silver prize.
1999: His ink painting Looking Far Ahead participated in the 50th Anniversary Symposium of Socialist Literature and Arts in the People's Republic of China and won the first prize.
1999: His ink painting Purple Clouds participated in the calligraphy and painting exhibition of six provincial and municipal political consultative committees. Tianjin TV Station produced a special introduction on Jiang Feng.
2002: His ink painting Spring Brings Prosperity won the Excellence Award in the National Art Exhibition.
1999: Tianjin Yangliqing Fine Arts Publishing House published Jiang Feng Paintings.
2000: Tianjin Yangliqing Fine Arts Publishing House published Jiang Feng's Method of Painting Writhe Vines.
