Features: Liu Wenjin, male, styled Yuanwei. Born in 1945 in Yingkou, Liaoning Province. In 1961, he entered the (Affiliated High School) of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts. In 1965, he graduated as an outstanding student and was assigned to Changchun Film Studio as an artist. In the mid-to-late 1980s, he focused on the study of film aesthetics, theoretical writings, and scriptwriting, delving into the exploration of modern film language and concepts. He was a member of the China Film Association, the China Film Aesthetics Association, and the Jilin Branch of the China Fine Arts Association. In the 1990s, he returned to painting with his "Residency" status, settling in Beijing. In recent years, his oil painting series "Girls" has garnered domestic and international acclaim.
