Can women with polycystic ovary syndrome have children?

Patient's question:

Conducted a thorough six-hormone check, with progesterone level at 0.16, other indicators normal. The ultrasound on July 9th showed a 17×15×11mm follicle in the right ovary and a 7mm follicle diameter in the left ovary. The doctor prescribed Huoxue Huazhong Jiaonang. The ultrasound on July 14th revealed that the follicle did not grow but instead enlarged. Both ultrasounds showed an endometrial thickness of 4mm. Now the doctor has prescribed Femoston and Nuangong Qiwei Wan.

Doctor's answer:

I didn't see your report on the six sex hormones, how is it normal? Both of your ovaries have multiple follicles, suggesting possible polycystic changes. However, whether it is polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) still needs to be determined by reviewing the six sex hormone test results. The monitoring data shows a large follicle on one side, but it is not a dominant follicle. Then why are you taking the blood-activating and resolving stagnation capsules? On July 14th, an ultrasound was performed. The large follicle increased in size, and there were only a few follicles left. This may suggest an error in the monitoring data.
