Features: Tao Feng passed away due to illness in July 1944. In the same month, Shen Junru wrote the commemorative text "Sorrowful Remembrance," which marked the beginning of nearly 60 years of research on Tao Feng. Based on the limited materials at the author's disposal, this nearly six-decade-long research process can be broadly divided into three stages: From August 1944 to 1955 was the first stage, which ended and the second stage began with the publication of the three-volume "Collected Works of Tao Feng" in the same August. From August 1955 to 1995 was the second stage, which ended and the third stage began with the publication of the 14-volume "Complete Works of Tao Feng" in October of the same year. From October 1955 to the present is the third stage. Each of these three stages had distinct academic perspectives compared to the preceding and succeeding stages, and thus the latter also underwent three similar developmental stages.
