Editor's Note
1. The China Lawyers Yearbook is compiled by the All-China Bar Association and is a comprehensive publication that records the work of the Bar Association, reflects the overall picture of the Bar Association's work, and showcases the achievements of lawyers' work in various years.
2. The China Lawyers Yearbook·2001–2003 reflects the work of the Bar Association across the country and in all provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government during the 2001–2003 period.
3. The data included in the China Lawyers Yearbook does not cover Taiwan Province or the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions.
4. As the All-China Bar Association has already published the China Legal Profession Development Data Statistical Analysis Report annually, the statistics on lawyers and law firms in various regions for the 2001–2003 period are temporarily excluded from the content of the Yearbook.
5. Due to various reasons, some data from certain provinces and autonomous regions are not included in the China Lawyers Yearbook·2001–2003.
6. The data included in the China Lawyers Yearbook·2001–2003 is up to December 31, 2003.
7. The China Lawyers Yearbook·2001–2003 is a combined volume. Starting from 2004, annual volumes will be resumed.
