Composition:
- Angelica sinensis (root) 120g (cleaned of hairs, divided into four parts, soaked overnight in vinegar, wine, ginger juice, and children's urine, then air-dried and lightly roasted)
- Angelica sinensis (root) 50g
- Ligusticum chuanxiong (rhizome) 20g
- White peony root (cooked) 40g
- Poria cocos (sclerotium) 40g
- Moutan bark (powdered) 25g
- Eucommia ulmoides (dried) 50g (baked dry)
Function: Nourishing blood, regulating blood flow, harmonizing qi, and regulating menstruation.
Indications: Disorders of women's menstruation, such as irregular periods (early or late), unpredictable cycles, varying blood volume, pale or dark menstrual color with clots, lower abdominal distension or dull pain, dysmenorrhea, or prolonged cases of metrorrhagia.
Usage: The herbs are ground into fine powder. Take 5g each time, twice daily, with warm water. A course of 20 days is recommended, with 1–2 courses generally sufficient for recovery.
