Features: Cases published in the Supreme People's Court Bulletin have all been reviewed by the Supreme People's Court Judicial Committee, making them not only highly typical but also highly instructive. From a theoretical perspective, these cases are equivalent to "precedents" in China. To facilitate judges, procurators, lawyers, and other legal professionals in accurately referencing and correctly understanding the Supreme People's Court's decisions in judicial practice, this series has been organized and compiled. The series has the following characteristics:
1. The series is divided into three volumes: Criminal Cases, Civil Cases, and State Compensation · Administrative · Enforcement Cases. Among them, the Civil Cases volume is further divided into three sub-volumes.
2. The series preserves the original text and titles of the bulletin cases without any modifications by the annotators.
3. The annotators in the series are all senior judges from higher courts, who possess both a solid legal foundation and extensive judicial experience.
4. Annotating the cases published in the Supreme People's Court Bulletin is not only challenging but also inevitably involves different theoretical interpretations. However, since these cases have already taken legal effect, any differing opinions among annotators regarding the original judgment's classification or legal application do not affect the judgment's validity.
