Features: I-DEAS software is one of the most widely used large-scale CAD/CAM/CAE integrated software in both domestic and international markets, with strong finite element analysis capabilities. However, there is currently a lack of systematic teaching materials about its finite element analysis functions in the market, making it difficult for users to achieve in-depth learning and use of the software. During the process of learning and applying various foreign software, the authors of this book have summarized the more challenging content and compiled it into this tutorial. The content includes seven major parts: assembly finite element analysis, variable analysis, adaptive analysis, composite layup material finite element analysis, response analysis, nonlinear statics analysis, and P-method linear static analysis. The book focuses on explaining software application methods while also introducing relevant theories, making it suitable for intermediate and advanced users of I-DEAS finite element analysis software, as well as professionals in finite element analysis for reference.
Software technology is developing rapidly. During the writing of this book, I-DEAS software has undergone two version changes. The authors have strived to make the book applicable to multiple versions of the software while reflecting its latest advancements. The example steps in the book are provided for NT version I-DEAS 9.0.
