Compared to the rapid changes in technology, the situation in the field of professional book publishing is far from optimistic. Not only are books on digital technology scarce, but even practical reading materials urgently needed by frontline industry technicians are rarely available. Therefore, Printing Industry Press has decided to start with the basics and publish a series of "Printing Tips" books. "Prepress Tips" is one of the books in this series, with its content primarily drawn from the widely popular "Printing Technology" magazine. These tips are the result of long-term exploration by frontline technicians who are rich in practice and thoughtful spirit, making them highly practical. During the writing process, the editors have strived to maintain the original flavor of the content, keeping the style of the manuscripts largely intact while making minor adjustments to individual pieces. Most of the articles in the book are concise but to the point, offering simple and practical solutions to common small problems and malfunctions encountered in printing practice.
