Features: The poetry of our Chinese nation has a long history. Taking the classic anthology of over 2,000 years, the Book of Songs for example, poems like "Quanquan Juju, on the river's isle. Graceful and pure, the lady, the gentleman's delight" from Zhou Nan·Guanju and "Liao liao zhe e, fei e yi huang; Zhong zhong fu mu, sheng wo qu lao" from Xiao Ya·Liao E, share the same regular line structures, rhyme positions, and rhyming patterns as later (quatrain) poetry, with only the change from four-character lines to five- or seven-character lines due to social and linguistic evolution.
