Features: This "Bulgarian-Chinese Conversation Manual" was compiled based on the characteristics of Chinese learners of Bulgarian. The purpose of compiling this small book is to facilitate students learning Bulgarian and those interested in Bulgaria to learn and master basic Bulgarian vocabulary and expressions for daily life, and to gain an understanding of some general aspects and customs of Bulgaria. The manual adopts a categorized approach, focusing on vocabulary and phrases related to daily life. Due to space limitations and the principle of simplicity, it primarily uses question-and-answer formats, including multiple answers to a single question or questions without answers. The manual strives to provide more phrases than individual words to aid beginners in mastering Bulgarian. Additionally, as a bilingual conversation manual, it is not comprehensive and cannot meet everyone's needs, but we hope it will be helpful to students learning Bulgarian, visitors to Bulgaria, and those in contact with Bulgarians. During the publication and compilation process, we are grateful to Bulgarian expert Lilya Ilieva, who teaches at Beijing Foreign Studies University, and Mr. Ilia Ivanov Nedev for reviewing the entire manuscript and supplementing some content. Mr. Tian Jianjun, the director of the Bulgarian Language and Literature Department, participated in part of the compilation and served as the chief editor of the book. Here, we express our heartfelt gratitude for their assistance.
