Features: Huanggang materials are everywhere, but Huanggang High School is the only one! Authenticated by Huanggang High School, the first public publication of its internal workbook! Warm-up before class, in-class exercises; homework after class, middle school entrance exam online! Founded in 1904, Huanggang High School in Hubei Province was a key high school in Hubei Province in 1953 and was awarded the title of "Advanced Unit in the National Education System" in 1986. In 2002, it was recognized as an "Advanced Unit in National Spiritual Civilization Construction."
Huanggang High School upholds the educational philosophy of "people-oriented, virtue-based education" and has developed the distinctive characteristic of "comprehensive development with special talents." It has explored a teaching style of "seeking truth, refinement, uniqueness, and innovation." Its outstanding performance in college entrance exams and competitions is the inevitable result of its long-term implementation of quality education, and only a part of its abundant teaching achievements.
When people ask, "What magic formula does Huanggang High School use to cultivate students? What power does it have to turn sand into a tower? What ability does it have to turn stone into gold?" This is a question I often hear. If you think Huanggang High School merely follows the of college entrance exams and passively adapts to exams, that is wrong. Huanggang High School does not advocate mechanical memorization or passive problem-solving. If it has any exceptional qualities, it lies in its ability to fully understand the intentions of test setters and grasp their underlying principles, becoming a leader rather than a blind follower.
Huanggang High School does not oppose teachers diving into the sea of problems but strongly advocates students stepping out of it. It opposes students doing mechanical, simple, repetitive, and tedious exercises but requires them to complete necessary ones. We encourage students to tackle flexible and diverse problems that have broad applications, allowing them to enrich their knowledge, develop skills, and enhance their qualities through the process of problem-solving.
If there is anything else that makes Huanggang High School successful, it is that while cultivating and nurturing a large number of outstanding students, it has also forged its teaching staff, creating renowned teachers in Hubei Province. These teachers possess deep scientific and cultural literacy, innovative educational concepts, unique teaching styles, artistic skills, and abundant teaching achievements.
To showcase the talents of Huanggang High School teachers and share their teaching results, we have organized first-line core teachers from the school to meticulously plan and compile three series of books: "Huanggang High School Workbook," "Huanggang High School Exam Papers," and "Huanggang High School 2006 College Entrance Exam First and Second Round Training Questions."
The "Huanggang High School Workbook" series is based on the "Teaching Syllabus" and "Exam Syllabus," highlighting the role of "homework" in helping students develop learning abilities, problem-solving skills, and exam skills. It reflects the inevitable connection between Huanggang High School students' brilliant performance in various exams and their rigorous daily practice.
This series has been carefully designed in its format, featuring four major sections—pre-class warm-up, in-class exercises, after-class homework, and middle (senior) school entrance exam online—to strengthen training and improve abilities. It has the following features:
1. Appropriate exercise positioning: The exercises are carefully arranged to reinforce and progressively improve the knowledge points, exam points, question types, and methods. The series aims to help students reach a new level of problem-solving skills through progressive exercises in ability-based, open-ended, applied, and comprehensive formats.
2. Moderate difficulty gradient: The ratio of basic, intermediate, and difficult questions in this series is 6:3:1, suitable for the use of most secondary schools. Most questions are labeled with A, B, or C to indicate their difficulty level, with appropriate and clear requirements.
3. Detailed solution hints: The answers at the back of the book are appropriately detailed, with more thorough explanations for difficult questions. It is particularly worth mentioning that the well-timed hints sometimes play a pivotal role.
This series emphasizes the originality and quality of the authors' questions, with rigorous review and proofreading at every stage, striving to become a unique gem in the educational supplement market.
