Features: This book is the second revised edition of the basic Russian language textbook for Russian major in higher education institutions. The principles of this revision are: 1. Maintain the main principles of the original book, which is to arrange grammar and vocabulary for each lesson around the core of basic Russian grammar, enabling students to gradually master the fundamental grammar rules and common vocabulary of Russian from easy to difficult, from simple to complex, and to gradually develop skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Russian using these materials. 2. The entire introduction to phonetics in this volume has been rewritten. Additionally, phonetic exercises have been added to each lesson to reinforce the achievements of the introductory stage throughout the academic year. 3. The grammar sections of each lesson have been significantly revised to make them more scientific and easier for students to grasp. 4. Some texts and vocabulary have been replaced, mainly by removing outdated content and adding vocabulary that reflects the current reality of Russia. At the same time, the after-lesson exercises have also been modified accordingly.
