Features: The new curriculum reform provides a rare opportunity to improve teaching and enhance teaching quality, while also posing a series of urgent research topics for teachers. After entering the new curriculum experiment, teachers have conducted in-depth studies on the new "Curriculum Standards," shifted their thinking, and reformed traditional teaching models, resulting in a fresh look in teaching across various subjects. However, some teachers feel that implementing some of the new curriculum's proposals is challenging. Especially regarding the concept of transforming students' learning methods and teachers' teaching methods, there is a lack of sufficient theoretical research and practical case studies for reference in practice. One of the major changes in this round of curriculum reform is the diversification and specification of teaching objectives. The new curriculum standards replace the traditional three levels and three objectives—“basic knowledge, basic abilities, and ideological education”—with three levels and seven objectives—“knowledge and skills, processes and methods, and attitudes and values.” Among these, “processes and methods” has become a secondary teaching objective. The basic philosophy behind formulating this objective is clearly stated in the new curriculum standards.
