The book records approximately 20,000 plant species, including common species in forests, vegetation, and gardens, species of economic or scientific value, species distributed across more than two provinces or regions or widely distributed in neighboring countries but only found in certain peripheral provinces in China, representative species of each genus, and common introduced and cultivated exotic species.
