Features: "Perspectives" is an irregular journal that emphasizes the thematic nature of humanities and academia. Each issue focuses on a specific topic, inviting expert editors to select representative works (or compile key academic viewpoints) from scholars abroad, along with comprehensive reviews, aiming to provide readers with a relatively complete introduction to a particular academic subject. In addition to reviewing academic concepts and information, it will make qualitative selections regarding academic considerations of different cultural value judgments. To meet the needs of young scholars for understanding foreign academic culture, it will also provide simple explanations for some new academic terms (including cross-linguistic definitions). These efforts will serve the multi-level and diversified demands of modernizing Chinese academic culture and broaden the intellectual space for humanities research in the domestic academic community. We hope to track the humanities trends and research hotspots in contemporary foreign academia, reflecting the high-level achievements of scholars on these topics. Given our limited knowledge, we often leave room for improvement. However, for this goal, we should make unremitting efforts and pursuits.
