Features: This manual is a supplementary book for "New Japanese Course." "New Japanese Course" was compiled based on the "Japanese" textbook used by the Japanese Language School of Tokyo University of Foreign Studies in Japan. Since its introduction to China in the late 1970s, the textbook has been deeply loved by, it began to be used in Japanese major programs at higher education institutions, followed by public foreign language teaching. Later, it became the textbook for preparatory schools for studying in Japan and all those going to Japan. It can be said that this textbook has the highest usage frequency, widest coverage, and largest number of users in school and social Japanese education in China. Due to its scientific teaching methods and suitability for Chinese learners of Japanese, the compiled "New Japanese Course" and its "Exercise and Test Collection" were published accordingly. However, many learners found the textbook bulky with a large vocabulary and numerous sentence patterns, making it inconvenient for concentrated memorization. They called for a vocabulary and sentence pattern manual to address the difficulties learners faced in memorizing words and patterns. This manual was compiled in response to this demand.
The manual is divided into two main parts: vocabulary and sentence patterns. Considering its complementarity with the textbook and convenience for learners to recall lessons, words in the vocabulary section are organized in the order of the 50 Japanese phonetic scripts, with each volume compiling words. The sentence patterns section is organized by lesson order. The manual includes approximately 8,000 words and 299 sentence patterns. Specifically, the first volume contains about 1,500 words and 164 sentence patterns; the second volume contains about 3,7010 words and 81 sentence patterns; the third volume contains about 1,800 words and 54 sentence patterns. Mastering these vocabulary and sentence patterns, along with the grammar learned from the three volumes of "New Japanese Course," will enable learners to achieve a basic level of reading, translation, and communication in Japanese.
