In the current context, in the era of economic globalization, this is precisely the topic that transportation professionals from both sides of the Taiwan Strait need to explore, research, and even solve. Since the conference invitation and call for papers were issued at the beginning of this year, transportation science and technology professionals from both sides of the Taiwan Strait have actively responded and strongly supported it. The organizing committee has received a large number of scientific and technical papers, and by the end of May this year, the academic conference has received over 360 papers, covering eight aspects such as transportation development, urban and regional transportation, planning and reviews, ecological and tourism transportation, digital transportation and transportation information, modern logistics, transportation safety, and engineering technology. The Anhui Highway Society has organized experts to carefully review all the papers and selected 132 of them to be compiled into a book titled Modernization of Urban and Regional Transportation, published by Anhui Science and Technology Press. This book is a summary of theoretical research and engineering practice by transportation professionals from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, reflecting the development level of transportation science and technology, and、.
