Features: "Introduction to the Collection of Tan Yuanchun (Traditional Vertical)" Tan Yuanchun, styled Youxia, was a native of Jingling County, Chengtian Prefecture, Hubei Province. He was born in the 14th year of the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty (1586 AD) and died in the 10th year of the Chongzhen era (1627 AD). He passed the Hubei provincial examination in the 7th year of the Tianqi era (1627 AD). In his poems and writings, Tan Yuanchun often referred to his hometown using ancient place names such as "Jingling," "Fuzhou," and "Anlu Prefecture." Jingling was later renamed Jingling County after the Kangxi era of the Qing Dynasty, and then further renamed Tianmen County, belonging to Anlu Prefecture. It is approximately equivalent to what is now Tianmen City, Hubei Province.
