These outstanding photographic works featuring plateau figures will undoubtedly inspire tremendous encouragement and spiritual motivation for people to understand, promote, and develop the west. Faced with the vast and boundless plateau and its ever-changing scenery, witnessing the weathered, reddish-brown faces and the profound yet vibrant eyes of the plateau people, a wave of warmth seems to rise in my heart, stirring a strong urge to create. Here, I am willing to share my creative insights and experiences from my journey to the plateau through the 100 selected works in this photo collection, offering them to fellow professionals, colleagues, and readers. I hope more people will step out of their homes, venture into the west, and immerse themselves in the vibrant life currents flowing across that land, to touch its life's pulse and celebrate the ordinary yet great pioneers, depicting the diverse and colorful new world. To deeply understand the essence of advanced culture and the "Hundred Flowers" policy, and to explore the path of innovation in the image era of the new century, I am willing to share some preliminary reflections based on the creative process of my work.
